Lia & Rick are such a beautiful and amazing couple. They compliment each other perfectly; you can tell by the infatuation between them in way they interact, without always having to be attached. They are such generous and thoughtful people, and made sure that everyone at their engagement party was having a good time, even/especially their photographer!
Despite the chilly day yesterday, they were very eager when I proposed to take a few photos outside. As you can see, they easily warm each other up with their bright personalities.
With an engagement party like this, I can only imagine how great their wedding will be!
Here are a few of my favorite photos. For the rest of the samples, visit JNQ&Co.’s Facebook Page.
A few quick samples from Karen & Ramon’s wedding yesterday have been edited and uploaded to JNQ&Co’s facebook page.
God bless the newlyweds.
Karen & Ramon are a very welcoming & entertaining couple. Although they first told me they were a bit unsure of what to do during this engagement shoot, I hardly had to “direct” or “pose” them. From telling me their stories of how they met, I already knew that our shoot would be a lot of fun, as they have a great sense of humor. They easily find comfort in one another’s presence, which is a reflection of their love for each other, as well as making the job much easier for me!
It was a perfect day to go out shooting (minus all the bugs), and we started off at the church where they first met. After a quick wardrobe change (I like to change shoes between locations), we moved the shoot to a park, as Ramon wanted to serenade his fiancé on the hill, and Karen definitely wanted some shots on the basketball court.
Their wedding is coming up in 2 weeks, and I’m excited to be able to shoot for them! Here are a few of my favorites from the shoot.
See these photos, as well as Karen’s picks on JNQ&Co.’s FB page.

It’s very fitting that I show these photos as the first of the set. Marnie & Paul are fun-loving people, who love to share laughs at every occasion. This was also the first shot I took of them when we met on-location on a drizzling evening in the Old Port of Montreal.

If you look at the weather for the past two weeks in Montreal, rain has been forecasted 8 days out of 7 (yes, I know that doesn’t make sense). The days that did turn out sunny still had a 60% chance of showers, which made it very difficult to try to plan a day to shoot outdoors.
Luckily for us, last Friday was one of those days which went against the odds, and the first “perfect” day we’ve had in this transition from Spring to Summer.
Had an awesome long week-end, shooting every day from Friday till tonight (Tuesday).
Thanks for the co.mpany everyone. Special thanks to:

Stay tuned for all the updates coming very soon.
BRB, teachers gonna teach.
Now, you’re probably asking yourself, “Jean-Noel, why are you taking photos of STOCK cars?”
If you have ever talked to me about cars, the first thing I will tell you is to change the wheels, and lower it. When siblings Jessica and John Edward (J.E.) contacted me for a shoot, I knew exactly how I wanted it to go…

Let’s cross off April 25th’s to do list:
First of all, if you’re not familiar with “mirin”, please visit this link.
Secondly, I’m disappointed that I didn’t get to go for a run today. Looks like I’ll just have to go for 10 tomorrow.
And lastly: days like these, I just can’t help ending by thanking and admiring our Lord above.
JNQ&Co. @ La Braderie de Mode Québécoise
Today is the last day of the Braderie!
Thursday was my first day visiting the Braderie de Mode Québécoise, and I am very impressed with their offerings. This isn’t one of those “up to 80% off”, it actually IS at least 50 to 80% off! Great deals on clothing, dresses, bathing suits, high-quality leather, and many choices for men as well. One aspect that I appreciate from Québec designers is their attention to detail; the very small things that make a piece of clothing that much more desirable.
I was also impressed with the selection of Mackage jackets, as well as the large area of Rudsak items on the bottom floor, with many bags and purses starting at only $100+. Footwear @ Rudsak (for men & women) was only $40 on Thursday, but I’m sure the selection has decreased since then.
You can also visit InFashion to see a few items/brands available at the sale.
Support your local Québec designers! They opened their doors this morning at 10:00am, and it will end today at 5:00pm at the Bonsecours Market (350 St-Paul East).
Enjoy,
Jean-Noel
So I decided to start my own blog. Not with the goal of having a million followers, but simply to have a creative outlet.
I don’t have a lot of time for much, but I’d always want to dedicate a bit of my time to my photography, as well as my personal-development.
This is what this blog is for.
